Last night the piece "Efter Wennstam" was premiered by Helena Gedda, at Härnösand's Theatre - in one of four concerts organized by Föreningen Nymus to celebrate the Theatre's 50th anniversary.
Efter Wennstam is a collaboration between me and David Saulesco. The starting point for the project was the concept of "awakening". David wrote a text where he drew from inspiration and impressions from the book "Flickan och skammen" ("The girl and the shame") by Katarina Wennstam. I then used that text as a basis for a composition for voice and quadraphonic electronics.
Helena has been involved from the start and lended her voice for the electronics and premiered the work brilliantly!
I would also like to say a special thanks to Region Västernorrland for enabling our project through their cross-disciplinary art funding!

During the spring and summer of 2021 I have collaborated with D.I.N. (Dans i Nord) and the organist Aaron Sunstein to develop a dance show with organ and electronics. Despite the pandemic trying to bring us down, we prevailed!
The performance was streamed on instagram, and is rewatchable here:

Aleatoriska ensemblen (The Aleatoric Ensemble), which I am a member of, performed at the Nonagon Festival at The Cisterns in Svanö - with visuals made by Jonas Johansson. It was a unique experience performing in such a reverbant room. The performance was recorded as a 360° video and it will be posted as soon as it has been edited.

During the autumn of 2020, I worked on a piece for the Weber Duo. This resulted in the piece for a time for violin duo. The piece was premiered during a live streamed concert arranged by the Nymus Association.
The duo, consisting of Ronnie och Ellinor Weber, interpreted the piece in a very delicate manner that suited my ideas well.

I'm finished with the music for my work for solo flute, Permanence. The piece will also include video, which I'm working at the moment. It's written for, and will be premiered by, flautist Molly Påhlsson.
Since June I'm also working on a piece for Reykjavík Chamber Orchestra, which will premiere during the Dark Music Days Festival in January 2021. I'm looking forward to having my music be performed in Iceland!
