About
Jörgen Häll (b. 1986) is a Swedish composer, based in Piteå. He has studied for prof. Jan Sandström, Jaime Reis, Gordon McPherson, Rory Boyle, Oliver Searle, Gary Verkade, Johan Ramström and Martin Schultz. He has also participated in workshops with Salvatore Sciarrino, Sir James McMillan and Jaime Reis, among others.
His original work include chamber and orchestral music, electro-acoustics, sound art, as well as music for games and films.
His works have been performed around the world and he has worked with ensembles and orchestras such as Alter Ego (ITA), Ensemble MISE-EN (US), Senzoku Gakuen Symphony Orchestra (JPN), Esbjerg Ensemble (DEN), Arctic Sinfonietta (NO), Norrbotten NEO (SWE), Drottningholm Baroque Orchestra (SWE) Gävle Symphonic Orchestra (SWE) and the Symphony Orchestra of NorrlandsOperan (SWE).
His musical style is broad and he is confident working with real musicians but also producing music in a studio.
